Photomatix Pro has taken effect for a long long time. Three open - just for fun I last evening. Great blend, great Dr., lots of detail, no halos, almost no sound and no soft as far as I could see the pixels - probably ... not sure rocks are slightly softened. Worth to mention that I had very light structure slider. The image is reloaded into Lr, it loads the song for further editing before I did a few adjustments. It does not seem reasonably natural and realistic.
